ZIP to PDF

Turn images inside a ZIP file into a single PDF in your browser. Images are read in filename order and laid out with your page settings. Private, no upload.

All processing happens in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.

Key Features

Read Images from ZIP

Drop a ZIP archive of images and the tool reads the supported files inside in filename order, so you do not need to extract and select them manually.

Page Layout

Choose original image size, A4, or Letter pages; set contain, cover, or stretch fit; select portrait or landscape orientation; and adjust margins and background.

One Multi-Page PDF

Combine all readable images in the archive into a single PDF with one image per page and a predictable page order.

Skipped File Report

Unsupported or unreadable files are skipped and listed in a report, so you can see exactly which archive entries were included or excluded.

Private & Local

The ZIP is read and converted entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your archive and images are never uploaded to a server.

How to Use

1

Add a ZIP Archive

Drag and drop or select a ZIP archive that contains the images you want to place in a PDF. The archive itself is not uploaded.

2

Check Order and Layout

Review the supported image entries in filename order, then set page size, fit mode, orientation, margins, and background for the output PDF.

3

Convert and Download

Run the tool to build one PDF from the readable images inside the ZIP. Download the PDF and review the report for any skipped files.

ZIP to PDF Example

A ZIP with three scanned photos is turned into a 3-page PDF using the original image size.

ZIP
photos.zip (photo-1.jpg, photo-2.jpg, photo-3.jpg)

An archive of supported images sorted by filename.

PDF
photos-minipdf.pdf (3 pages)

A PDF is created with one readable image per page, in archive filename order.

How to Convert a ZIP of Images to PDF

Why Convert a ZIP of Images to PDF

Scanned pages, photographed documents, receipts, and exported image sets are often collected in a ZIP archive. Turning them into one PDF makes the collection easier to share, print, review, and archive without manually extracting and selecting every image.

How It Works

The tool reads supported image files from the ZIP archive, sorts them by filename, and places each readable image on its own PDF page. You can keep the original image size or fit the pages to A4 or Letter. Contain keeps the whole image visible, cover fills the page, and stretch adjusts the image to the selected page.

Prepare the ZIP for the Right Order

Page order comes from filenames. If the order matters, use numbered names with leading zeros, such as 001.jpg, 002.jpg, and 003.jpg. Without leading zeros, alphabetical sorting may place 10.jpg before 2.jpg.

Supported Image Formats

The tool supports common raster image formats:

  • JPG / JPEG: Photos, scans, receipts, and camera images.
  • PNG: Screenshots, diagrams, and images with transparency.
  • WebP: Modern web images and screenshots.
  • BMP, GIF, and TIFF: Additional raster formats where browser decoding is available.

PDF, Word, spreadsheet, and other non-image files inside the archive are not converted by this image-focused workflow.

Common Use Cases

Use ZIP to PDF to:

  • Combine a ZIP of scanned pages into one document for submission.
  • Turn a folder of photographed receipts or invoices into a single PDF.
  • Create a PDF from a numbered photo collection or exported screenshots.
  • Prepare certificate, ID, form, or document images for printing and sharing.
  • Convert a batch of images without manually extracting the archive first.

Privacy

All archive reading and PDF generation run locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Your ZIP and its images are never uploaded to a server, making this suitable for personal, internal, or sensitive documents.

Limitations

This tool places images onto PDF pages. It does not run OCR, recognize text, enhance scanned images, or merge existing PDFs and office documents inside the ZIP. For searchable scans, clean the images or run OCR before or after creating the PDF.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my ZIP files uploaded?

No. The ZIP is read, extracted, and converted locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is sent to a server.

Which files inside the ZIP are used?

Supported image files are read in filename order. Unsupported, hidden, corrupted, or unreadable entries are skipped and listed in the processing report.

What image formats are supported?

PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, GIF, and TIFF images are supported. SVG and HEIF may not decode in every browser and may be skipped if they cannot be read.

How is the page order determined?

Images are ordered by their filenames inside the ZIP. Use consistent names such as 001-page.jpg, 002-page.jpg, and 003-page.jpg when order matters.

Can I control the page size?

Yes. You can use each image's original size, A4, or Letter, and choose fit mode, orientation, margins, and background options.

Can I convert a ZIP containing PDFs or Word files?

This tool is designed for image files inside a ZIP. PDF, DOCX, and other non-image files are not placed into the output PDF and may be skipped.

What happens if one image fails?

The unreadable image is skipped, the remaining readable images are converted, and the report lists the skipped file and the available error information.

Is this suitable for scanned pages and receipts?

Yes. It is useful for combining scanned page images, photographed documents, receipts, invoices, certificates, or an exported photo set into one PDF.

Does the tool extract images from the ZIP permanently?

No. It reads the archive in browser memory during conversion and generates the PDF locally. The ZIP is not uploaded or stored by the service.
