Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MinoPDF ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and tools at minopdf.com.

By using MinoPDF, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Data Processing — 100% Client-Side

All PDF and file processing in MinoPDF happens entirely in your browser. Your data is:

  • Not uploaded to any server
  • Not stored remotely
  • Not transmitted over the network for processing

We have no access to the PDFs, images, or any other content you process using our tools. Once you close the page, the data is gone.

How to Verify This Yourself

We encourage technical users to verify our privacy claims:

  1. Open DevTools → Go to the Network tab
  2. Add a file to any tool and run it
  3. Check the Network tab — you will see zero requests related to your file content

The only network requests this site makes are for loading the page itself (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and, if enabled, anonymized analytics. Your file content is never included in any request.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We explicitly do not collect:

  • The content of your PDFs, images, or any data you load into our tools
  • Personal information contained in those documents (names, emails, IDs, addresses)
  • Any data that could be used to reconstruct your input

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-focused web analytics to understand how our site is used. This may include:

  • Page views and navigation paths
  • Referrer information (e.g., search engine, social media)
  • Device type, browser type, and approximate location (e.g., country/region)

This data is anonymized and aggregated. It does not include your file content or any personal information that could identify you.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We keep local data to a minimum, for essential functionality only:

  • Remembering your theme preference (light/dark mode)
  • Remembering your language setting
  • Remembering the tools you used recently, so the home page can show shortcuts

The "recently used" list stores only the tool identifier (for example image-to-pdf). It never stores file names, file content, or anything you entered. You can clear it at any time with the "Clear" button next to that list.

We do not use cookies for:

  • Cross-site tracking
  • Selling data to third parties
  • Advertising or ad personalization

You can control or disable cookies and site data through your browser settings. Doing so may affect some features (for example theme persistence).

5. Advertising

MinoPDF does not display third-party advertising and does not use advertising cookies. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated before any such technology is added.

6. Third-Party Services

We do not share your files or their content with any third-party service. Period.

If analytics are enabled, they are configured to be privacy-focused and to avoid collecting personal data or file content.

7. Your Choices

You can:

  • Use MinoPDF without enabling cookies (via your browser settings)
  • Clear your browser data at any time
  • Stop using the site at any point; no data is retained on our side

8. Children's Privacy

MinoPDF is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

10. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at:
